Brooklyn Botanical Gardens Tour- Saturday June 9, 2007
The trip is scheduled for
Saturday, June 9th to the Brooklyn Botanical
Gardens. The Belltown Garden Club of East Hampton is offering the
trip to the first 40 individuals
who
sign-up and pay at a reduced rate of $40.50. The deluxe motor coach bus will hold a maximum of 54....the cost for those after the first 40 will be $53 (still a bargain).
Our bus will depart
Shaw's (East Hampton) parking lot
at 7:45 am. We will have one "rest stop" en route, the docent led garden tour will be from 11-12:30 , lunch on our own (either bag lunch or at the "Bistro" there), free time to explore the many other attractions until 3pm -- 52 acres in all featuring the Cranford Rose Gardens, Japanese Gardens, Victorian Steinhardt Conservatory - check out their website at www.bbg.org ) and The Brooklyn Museum of Art is right across the street!
