"The upcoming event in the new Connecticut
Convention Center will be almost 50 percent
larger than in 2006, with a record 22 different
gardens displayed. A new partner, the Northeast
Floral Trade Expo, will feature a competition of
top floral designers, bookstore, mini-exhibits of
retail flower shops, and two "high teas," each
with its own floral design show from respected
national designers.
Seminars presenters include HGTV's Roger Swain
(Thursday), Connecticut author Nancy DuBrule-Clemente,
Carol Miller of Top Most Earth Farm in Coventry,
dragonfly expert Christine Cook, and Kasha Furman
from Cricket Hill Garden in Thomaston
