The Connecticut Rose Society was
founded in 1980 as a non-profit, educational organization for the
purpose of teaching people to grow better roses. Through our
educational programs and annual Rose Show, we promote the appreciation and growing of roses.
We invite all those with an interest in roses to attend our monthly meetings.
Meetings are GENERALLY held on the first Sunday of the month,
September through June. See

Elizabeth
Park is the oldest public rose garden in the U.S. It contains more than
11,000 roses, both modern and old garden varieties. It serves as both a
laboratory and an inspiration for learning more about roses.
