4) Live up to guidelines in Consulting Rosarian guide
5) Exhibit a willingness to share knowledge of roses
6)Recommendations of 3 Consulting Rosarians
7) Attend a consulting rosarian seminar and pass the open book test (there will be one on the Friday of the 2005 Yankee District Convention at the Cape)
To remain a Consulting Rosarian one must:

2) Submit an annual report by Feb. 1 of each year

The ARS puts out a publication called "Consulting Rosarians Manual" ($15 with binder, $10 without) full of information on rose cultivation, diseases etc. as well as the particulars of being a Consulting Rosarian.

If interested in this certification, go to the American Rose Society website (www.ars.org) and order the Consulting Rosarian Manual.  Read and study that during the chilly winter days prior to March.
